Sin embargo, cuando los horarios escolares y laborales volvieron a la normalidad, realmente nos cuestionamos si esto era suficiente para nosotros hasta la jubilación. Aprovechando el mercado inmobiliario estadounidense a principios de 2022, decidimos vender nuestra casa y nuestros vehículos, renunciar a nuestros trabajos corporativos y tomarnos un año sabático autofinanciado en Costa Rica. Nos comprometimos a pasar al menos un año aquí, pero inmediatamente nos enamoramos de la gente y la belleza de este increíble país y decidimos hacer de este nuestro hogar.
